Gigi Khalsa, Head of School
Gigi has thirty-seven years of experience in early childhood education. She is beginning her 19th year at All Saints’, and has served in many roles including teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, Music, and Library. This is her seventh year as Head of School. Previously, she taught Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First grade in public and private schools. Gigi has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and master’s degree in Education with a special interest in Multicultural Education. Gigi finds joy in being outdoors, and loves helping children connect with themselves, others, and God through nature.

Jamie Fierro, Assistant Head of School and Librarian
Jamie is starting her 23rd year at All Saints’ and her 28th year total in early childhood education. Although most of her time in the Day School was as the lead teacher in the Blue Room, she also held roles as the Drama, Cooking, Creative Movement, Spanish, and Gardening teacher. In addition to her role as the Assistant Head of School, she is currently the Librarian. Jamie is a proud advocate for children of all abilities and is passionate about connecting with children and their families to foster a healthy and nurturing environment that is a place of love and learning. She co-owned a registered family home with her sister, and most recently served as an Early Learning Specialist in the Austin community with GAVA and Open Door Preschools.

Michelle Miller, Red Room Co-Teacher
Michelle Miller joins us this year as a co-teacher for the Red Room. She has an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Her ten years of teaching experience includes working with infants through three-year-olds. Michelle was born and raised in Minnesota, and she has lived and taught in California and Massachusetts. She has called Austin home since 2023. Michelle plans to continue her education and earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Victoria Trejo, Red Room Co-Teacher
Victoria Trejo begins her 10th year at All Saints’ Episcopal Day School. She has served in many roles, including Stay and Play and Early Birds teacher; Red, Blue and Green Room Assistant Teacher; and after-school Art and Yoga enrichment teacher. Victoria has more than 15 years of experience working with young children through All Saints’ Day School and the All Saints’ Church PDO program. She was born and raised in Austin, TX. Victoria recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Robyn Stanley, Blue Room Teacher and Godly Play
Robyn has worked with children for over 30 years in homeschool, preschool, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and youth education at church. She studied Education at the University of Texas and Austin Community College. This is Robyn’s second year at All Saints’. Robyn is committed to providing an enriching classroom environment that includes messy play because she loves to see children deeply engaged with meaningful learning.
Cassandra Mendez, Blue Room Assistant, Spanish, Stay and Play
Cassandra has over five years of experience working in early childhood education. She is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Cassandra previously worked with children using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) gaining valuable experience in supporting students with different learning and developmental needs. Cassandra is a true child at heart who loves being silly, creative, and playful, helping her connect with children and make learning fun. This is Cassandra’s first year at All Saints’.

Jenni has over ten years of experience working with children. Most recently, she was a Lead Teacher for three and four-year-olds. Jenni also has experience in children’s ministry, and she loves painting, drawing, hiking, and being outdoors. This will be Jenni’s first year at All Saints’.
Vanessa Benavidez, Green Room Assistant
Vanessa is beginning her third year at All Saints’. She has worked in the office, the Blue Room, and the Yellow Room before joining the Green Room this year. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Vanessa has three daughters, one who attended preschool at All Saints’.

Kimberly Mendez, Yellow Room Teacher and Spanish
Kimberly has worked at All Saints’ for nine years. She began as a teacher in our Stay and Play program. Kimberly then became a Pre-K teaching assistant, Spanish, Summer Program, and Green Room Lead Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.

Sandrine has been teaching young children for six years. Before working at All Saints”, she taught at a French immersion school and a nature school. She has a Child Development Associate credential. Prior to teaching, she worked in the culinary field and hospitality management. This is Sandrine’s second year in the Yellow Room at All Saints’. She brings a passion for helping children learn through art, gardening, and nature experiences.

Shannon Chandler, Orange Room Teacher
Shannon has nine years of experience teaching Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten. She also previously served as a Kindergarten Department Head. Shannon has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Reading Leadership. She wrote her thesis on Language Development in children from birth through age 6. Shannon has also written a children’s book. This is Shannon’s sixth year at All Saints’.

Alexis’ has worked at All Saints’ for three years, and she has seven years of experience working with young children. She began her teaching journey on a military installation. Alexis enjoys running and other outdoor activities in her free time.

Mo Kowalik, Chaplian and Music Teacher
Mo has taught at All Saints’ for eighteen years. She has served in many roles including teaching in the threes, Pre-K, TK, and Kindergarten. Mo is currently the Chaplain and Music teacher. Previously, Mo won an award for her chapel teaching from the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, and has presented teacher workshops on curriculum that she created for both chapel and math.
